Let's Talk about Organics

Organic gardening is a way of growing vegetables and plants using resources and practices that strengthen the health of the soil and shields the environment from potential damage caused by artificial farm chemicals.

When you buy organic, you are taking part in the healing of our land, the purifying of rivers, lakes, and streams, and the protection of all forms of life from exposure to chemicals used in conventional gardening.

Organic produce may cost more because smaller yields, pest damage, increased hand labor, and organic gardening practices all contribute to higher prices.  Rebuilding our ecosystem isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny.
