- Wouldn't it be nice if there was a place to drop off your leaves?
- Wouldn't it be nice if our local organic farm could sustain itself with
soil amendments?
- Wouldn't it be nice if local vegetable food waste had a place for
recycling?

Well you now can! With the help of Natural Resource Council of
Maine, we built a compost facility at the farm late 2008
summer. Local community members can drop off their leaves and
St. Joseph's College of Standish bring over their vegetable food
waste.
We have a Composting Corps to help us, with the bulk of their
work being to collect leaves.
Creating compost will provide us with needed inputs for our community garden
sites as well as enriching the soil at the farm.
Want to help? Want to donate? Let us know and also take a tour this summer.
