Rippling Waters greatest assets is customer assistance in teaching you how to grow sustainable, organic backyard gardens.  We’ll help you plan out your garden, improving your soil, and picking out the best plants.  Want more information to take home?  We have a variety of books on sale on topics such as composting, organic gardening, fresh salads, companion planting, and flowers & perennials.

Fed up with Bruised, Unflavorful & thus Non-Nutritious Produce at the Supermarket?

The most nutritious food you can consume comes from freshly picked organic produce.  At Rippling Waters we pick our produce daily and sell it at our farm store as well as at the Bridgton and Portland Farmers’ Markets.  We grow our produce with sustainable, bio-diverse and organic practices to bring to you the best food possible.  Our store also carries locally baked organic bread & baked goods, organic eggs & fruits in season, goat cheese, organic hot sauces, teas and preserved fruits and vegetables.

Worried about the Costs of Growing & Buying Organically?

Our prices are competitive with other local conventional greenhouses and farms.  We believe that organics must be available to all people at affordable prices.  Want a bigger discount?  You can volunteer 40 hours at the farm or at one of the school  gardens or buy a CSA (community supported agriculture) membership and get an extra 10% discount off your purchases.   Call us for more information regarding these opportunities.

 Tour the Farm

Before or after you do your shopping, plan on touring the farm or lunching at the river. We have a self-guided or perhaps if you come when we’re not all too busy, a personally guided tour of our fields, demonstrating backyard garden techniques of mulching, companion planting, cover cropping, composting, inter-cropping, and a short walk through our riverside woods with many native plants identified.  At Rippling Waters Farm you can hear the rippling waters of Limington Rapids on the Saco River, so it’s a great place to relax at our riverfront or across the river at Limington Rapids Rest Area.

You can also place an order with us by calling or emailing us and
we’ll have it ready for you at the farm or at a farmers’ market.
